Moodboard Monday Inspiration Series

Farmhouse Charm
This laminate flooring was made to be a feature point. You seriously need to check out the link for a full image of this amazing laminate. It’s a beautiful combination of different colors and looks so artistic! It’s begging to be in an open spaced studio. So with that in mind, this charming mood board was created! A blend of rustic farmhouse with the airiness of a studio come together to create the moodboard Farmhouse Charm.
Charming Details
Like I said above, the flooring is designed to be a show stopper. It will grab your attention and anchor the room. Embrace the warm tones with grayed- brown paint, soft but not underwhelming. The paint is not the feature, it’s just lending its power of suggestion to the flooring. The same goes for the brick tiles. The colors accentuate the flooring, and when tiled on a full floor to ceiling wall, they will pack a lot of punch. They are a blend of industrial and rustic styles which help tie all of the materials together to create this look. The detail in these tiles, such as the Chicago writing, just add more character to the rustic and restored ambiance. You’ll notice that there is a texture to the fabric, it’s not solid. Use it for drapery, or side chairs! They will pair really well with a brown leather couch.
The creative juices are flowing all around this room. Your eyes will be constantly flowing from the flooring to the drapery, to the brick accent wall, and to any wall art on display. Lighting will be important too. To keep everything from feeling dark and heavy, the room will need to well lit, and dimmable light fixtures would give you more light control.
