Moodboard Monday Inspiration Series
White and Airy
The moodboard White and Airy takes on a task that the Moodboard Monday Inspiration Series hasn’t tackled yet: a whole-house concept. When planning a design for an entire home keep this one goal in mind. Your aim is to create flow and connection from room to room so that every section feels like it belongs with the rest of the house. Think of it as putting your stamp on every area so that anyone can walk into any room and say with certainty, Yes, this is your home.
Solid Foundation
White and neutral materials are a great way to keep your home looking clean, airy, and large. The bonus is that you can pair any colour with white and neutrals to add excitement and your personal touch. Start with a solid base and add pizzazz from there. Colour, pattern and textures are your magic pixie dust in a room!
White and Light
When looking for whites you want to make sure that their undertones are similar. Yes, even whites can get complicated. Done right though, a home can feel warm and inviting instead of cold and sterile. That’s what the moodboard White and Airy does.
Imagine opening up the front door to your home, and being welcomed into a light and bright entrance. That feeling doesn’t end as you walk from the entry into your open living room area where you rest for a bit. The clean and airy kitchen invites you into its space to create a colorful and tasty meal. The bathroom feels like a spa, waiting for you to soak after a long day. This is your home. You created this feeling, this home.
