Hey friends and welcome to the last Thrifty Thursday post of the year! This post is a little different, as there isn’t a new DIY thrift flip idea. Instead, we’re doing a recollection of our favorite projects created by everyone who has participated over the past year. It’s been a lot of fun finding new purposes for thrifted items and budget-friendly decor. I also want to take a moment to say thank you to the amazing women who’ve been a part of Less Is More this year and contributed their awesome projects. They are so creative, and I hope you will continue to check out their projects in the new year.

Favorite DIY Thrifty Thursday Projects
These designs seemed to be a hit with you! I loved seeing what everyone created with their monthly finds and look forward to more of these projects. But there were certain ones that you seemed to go over really well with my readers and get more comments. In case you missed some of them, here are my picks for fan-favorite Less is More Thrifty Thursday posts from each of us.
The Inspired Decorator: Memory Pillow From A Loved Ones Shirt

This project was one that I had been uncertain about posting. I decided to make it a Thrifty Thursday post though so that there was a deadline to get it done, and share my story with you. It has resonated so much with you, and I love reading the stories you share with me about your own loved ones and the shirts you create to remember them. It’s been humbling to learn how many of you this tutorial has helped.
The Lived-In Look: DIY Plaster Vase

The earthenware look has been popular this year in many stores and online. But their price tags have made it a hot item to diy. There have been many ideas on TikTok and Pinterest for creating different rough pottery finishes. This one by Martina is one of my favourite outcomes!
Windmill & Protea: Faux Bone-Inlay Chest

At first glance this chest looks like an exquisite piece of craftsmanship. Even up close it still does! Junette did an amazing job turning a plain wooden chest into a functional work of art. The faux bone inlay is stunning!

When Erin posted her tutorial for using a paint brush to refinish furniture, but avoiding brush strokes, I’m sure I heard your jaw hit the floor! The finish is so clean and smooth, it looks sprayed not brushed on. Her technique is brilliant.
A Well-Purposed Woman: Painting An Mirror Antique White

You loved this antique mirror makeover. What was once a dark and dated mirror was given new life under Elizabeth’s hands. The distressed finish on antique white paint would make it fit beautifully in any home. And it’s an easy process to follow and do yourself.

This idea from Jaclyn to turn the posts of an old bedframe into study candlesticks is brilliant! The chippy finish is gorgeous. It’s such a fun and unique idea! Are you giving an old headboard the side-eye now too?
Bloom In The Black: DIY Leather Coasters

Brianna made the best of an old leather skirt by turning the material into fun and trendy coasters! It’s fun idea for all ages to make. What kind of fabric will you choose to create your own coasters with?

Here is one more great Thrifty Thursday diy idea from Erin. She did a beautiful transformation on a thrift store ceramic vase and turned into into a beautiful faux oil-rubbed bronze vase.
