Going from beige to grey is a lot easier than you may realize. There are many materials out there that are a blend of the two to ease the transition from one to the other. It will neutralize your beige, warm up your gray, and can evolve as trends (and your tastes) change over the years. I am a big fan of multi-functional design. I think it’s a great investment when it’s a materials purpose is to serve you again and again over the years.

These flooring materials have similar beige-gray aka “greige” tones in various amounts. So even though the overall color tones are the same, they have different characteristics to make them stand out, and not just blend together. We don’t want boring in our quest for complimentary. But the similar tones create an easy color scheme that you can use anywhere in your home. Just use paint to add some extra color interest, like this beautiful sage green. It’s peaceful, soothing, and compliments both the brown and gray tones. These materials are great for transitional styles.
